YOGURT LAMB SHASHLIK
ingredients:
1 ? lb lamb (cubed)
12 pearl onions (peeled)
2 oranges
3½ oz dry apricots
5 oz dry figs
2 tbsp vegetable oil

For marinade:
½ cup plain natural yogurt
1¼ tbsp spice blend
2 tbsp grape vinegar
4 tbsp vegetable oil
1 oz spring onions
Salt to taste
directions:
Combine all the ingredients for marinade. Pour the prepared marinade over the lamb chunks, mix well, cover and refrigerate for 10 hours or overnight. Soak apricots and figs in water for 30 minutes. Peel oranges and break into slices. Cut each slice lengthwise. Thread meat, pearl onions and fruits on metal skewers, sprinkle with oil and grill, spinning the skewers occasionally.
